Wonder Woman Wednesday

I'm just going to provide a link here, to an amazing group of Wondy cosplayers doing Nubia, Artemis, Kingdom Come Di, Donna Troy and Cheetah.

Go visit this page: http://amazon-princess.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06/wonder-women.html

You won't regret it!

Here's a picture of Nubia if you aren't sure who she is:
That's from Final Crisis 7.

Wonder Woman Wednesday

Another one that I can't find a source for.
I like it because Diana is skinny, and because she looks a bit Asian.  I like the simple style of the costume and I like the look in her eyes.  Like she's sizing you up to see if you are worth anything.

Wonder Woman Wednesday

Wondy fist bump anyone?

This is an Adam Hughes piece.  I really wish he would draw Di with a bustier that supports her breasts.

Wonder Woman Wednesday

This is the cover of JLA Classified 50.  It's by Joshua Middleton.  How gorgeous is this?  I love the body language, their frustration, the fact they aren't a couple.  It's so different to DC's New 52 house style, which I hate.

Wonder Woman Wednesday

From the style, I'd say this was 1960s or 1970s art. Anyone know who the artist is?

A young, pouty Diana.  Good colours.

The credit says Cedric Poulal/J-estacado deviantart.  Link here: http://j-estacado.deviantart.com/

Wonder Woman Wednesday

Canary, Shiera and Peej (look in his shades) try to hold Di back, while Zee looks on aghast.
You can see the credit in the image.
This is reminiscent of this Barda and Plas sequence from JLA 33, written by Mark Waid:

I don't like this depiction of Plas.  It's creepy.

Wonder Woman Wednesday

This is by Terry Didson.  I like her muscles and her strength, but she does a look bit like she's dancing with Cheetah.

Wonder Woman Wednesday (link time)

I won't post an image today, but just go look at this link: http://geektyrant.com/news/wonder-woman-best-of-cosplay-collection

So many beautiful Wondy cosplays.  I mean beautiful in terms of the physical attributes of the women, the costumes, the poses, the attitude of the women, their stances and the quality of the photographers.  Mesmerising.

Wonder Woman Wednesday (with added Blackhawk)

Found this while hunting for everyday Wondy dresses.

It's from this website: http://fashionablygeek.com/costumes/pin-up-wonder-woman-and-lady-blackhawk-cosplay/

I want a subtle Wondy dress, so would look like an everyday piece of clothing, but is recogniseable as WW if you know comics or the character.  You know, like the Captain Marvel costume has been redesigned into everyday wear by the Carol Corps.  See these links if you don't know what I mean:

Something like for Wondy.  Has anyone seen anything like that?  Or can you think of any dress designs/patterns that would work, if I got the right material?  I guess I could just do a blue skirt/red top a la the lady in the picture, but I'd like something perhaps a bit more complicated than that.  I dunno.  Any ideas?

Wonder Woman Wednesday

By Andy Kappelusch.

EDIT - Just found this (and others) in my draft posts folder.  Will be posting them over a few weeks. They look to be about a year old.
