I'm not such a fan of that kind of cartoonish 90's mannerism either, but not once in the original post OR in ANY of the comments did anyone explicitly say what they found disturbing about these images. Please enlighten me.
I get the intimation from the first page, but seriously, you're a far ways away from any kind of actual critique OR- REAL criticism. Extrapolate on your distaste, or most thinking people will dismiss your blind criticism as some kind of knee jerk reaction.
I'm not quite sure what you think the intent of my original post was, but seeing as you were upset enough to leave negative comments on two of my recent blog posts I will post the same response to each:
1) This is my blog. I can write what I like, when I like, how I like, in the style I like, for whatever purposes I like.
2) If it bothers you that much, you don't have to read it.
I have a comment policy (here: http://paiwings.blogspot.com/2009/05/comment-policy.html). If you read it you will notice it says 'don't be rude'. You are being rude. Discussion is fine, rudeness is not.

Gosh..I hated those issues back then... a whole bunch of skippable WW issues, that is until Byrne took the title back to its former glory :P
