Comment policy

It's simple.

Don't be rude. Don't swear at anyone. Don't swear about anyone. Don't be dismissive. Don't mock. Be polite.

Discussion is welcomed and encouraged, so long as the above rules are abided by.

If I think a commenter is being impolite they get one warning and then the comment gets deleted. Repeat offenders will be banned.

I hope that the above will not happen, as for the most part, people are polite and respectful of others, however I am aware of at least one instance where individuals have felt unable to comment due to snarking from other bloggers. Which I think is unacceptable.

Stuff and comments

I'm gonna be really busy for the next few days and have been for the last, well ages, really. I have a word do tomorrow night and I'm off to London for the weekend for the Reclaim the Night march on Saturday.

I have noticed comments have been left on some of my more political posts recently - right now I'm too worn out and got too much life stuff going on to trust myself to be able to answer them and argue them well. So, still here, still reading comments but feel like I may inadvertently pick a fight if I respond. So I'm not going to. Plus, feeling ultra sensitive and not good at criticism right now. :/

How do I set this thing up to email me when a new comment is left? If anybody's out there and reading please help! (I don't find blogger's help function very useful or I'd ask that).
