Today's post

has fuck all commentary.

Found here via the comment thread here. Went to a solstice party on Saturday night. Went to bed Sunday morning about 8.30am, woke up again at 2, went to bed again at 11.30. I think I'm still hungover, hence no commentary.

  1. Believe it or not, the publishing industry is FULL of women who are the main breadwinners of their families. In my office, at least two of the executive publishers (both women) work while their husbands stay at home with the kids. Mr. Sea was even a stay-at-home daddy for a while last year. :-)

  2. yeah , in my current job we are all women, from the admin to the operations manager and right through to the board.
the last place I worked in had a pretty high incidence of women managers/directors too, which is good. So for me, I haven't had much experience of the glass ceiling, but i've only been working for 5 years.
the boyfriend and me have an agreement that if i get pregnant then he gets to stay at home and look after the kids. which is great!

  3. My situation is a bit daunting in that my fiancee actually makes more than I do, but she wishes to stay home when we have a child, at least in the beginning (we're not expecting yet).
